A Quiet Day at the Bourse

    The stock markets added another couple of percent today, with the Dow closing at 8,456, and the S&P at 877. The Dow seems to be showing some resistance to falling below 8,000, and the S&P 500 seems to like the atmosphere above 800. Week before last could have been a market bottom, although I certainly thought (and was wrong about) September 19, 2001, being the bottom.
    I didn't find much commentary today (see below).
