Today's Stock Market Surge
So what did today's market action mean? I'm certainly not
the one to ask. It's characteristic of a market bottom that it retests its lows,
approaching but not quite reaching its previous low. It traces out an
upside-down "head-and-shoulders" pattern. One important signal, Warren
Buffett is buying now. I don't suppose that means that the stock market has
reached a bottom, but it probably does mean that he sees good markets out there
on the cutting room floor.
