Matchbox-Size Nano-Projector Engine For Mobile Apps - SpaceDaily  Left:  The ultra-compact, highly-efficient projection engine is targeted for portable, hand-held devices such as cellular phones, PDAs, and PMP devices.  Kopin and ExPlay have announced that they are in development of an ultra-small nano projector based on an ultra-high-efficiency version of Kopin's microdisplay, which is being specifically designed for the nano projector, and ExPlay's unique optical technology. Under the $2.2 million program partially funded by the BIRD Foundation, Kopin and ExPlay are developing a matchbox-size projection ehdine with target optical efficiencies nearly 10 times higher than those currently available. The ultra-compact, highly-efficient projection engine is targeted for portable, hand-held devices such as cellular phones, PDA's, and PMP devices. This is a tight combination of a high-transmission microdisplay and a specially designed optical engine in an easy-to-integrate package
Mackerel Fish oil study at special school  - BBC  Pupils at a school for children with special educational needs are taking part in a study to see if taking fish oil supplements can improve behaviour. Lianne Quantrill, project co-ordinator at the school said, : "There is already mounting evidence to suggest that there are benefits of taking omega 3 fish oils, particularly for those with behavioural problems who may already have fatty acid deficiencies. Debbie Weymouth, whose son attends Eaton Hall, said she had read about the positive effects of fish oil and was keen to see if there was an effect on her son. Fish oil is rich in EPA, a fatty acid that helps the brain send messages between cells and has been shown to improve memory, mood, concentration and behaviour.
